ISPCA seeks a home for snake abandoned in Leitrim

The ISPCA is seeking a home for the snake found recently in a park in north Leitrim.

The python snake now named 'Penelope' was found in July in the Ecopark in Kinlough.

It's being cared for at a reptile centre in Letterkenny for rehabilitation.

The ISPCA says as no owner has come forward they are now looking for a new one to take on the responsibility of caring for 'Penelope'.
