Tributes are being paid to the frontline workers who have been administering Covid-19 vaccines in Sligo for the past 8 months.
The vaccination centre at the Knocknarea arena at ITSligo closed for the final time yesterday at 4pm after adminstering over 110,000 vaccines.
Sligo Councillor, Donal Gilroy and member of the Regional Health Forum West says Sligo has been the 'poster boy' of vaccination centres nationally.
He says the centre can only close now due to the 'wonderful work' of staff.
