A junior minister says he supports a 100 per cent redress scheme for anyone caught up in the Mica scandal.
It comes as the government faces increasing repair and rebuilding costs, with more councils set to seek funding.
The local authorities in Clare, Limerick, Sligo and Tipperary are all likely to submit applications for funding.
