Just under 11,500 on Live Register in north west

There was just under 11,500 on the Live Register in counties Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal during the month of September.

It’s one of the key findings in the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

There were 2,179 people on the live register in Sligo in September, 1,216 males and 963 females.

In Leitrim there were 1,593 on the Live Register, 814 males and 779 females.

While 7,655 were on the Live Register in Donegal during the month with 4,159 males and 3,496 females.
