KFO calls for reversal of cuts to fish stocks at EU meeting

An EU Fisheries meeting is continuing in Brussels this evening.

Sean O'Donoghue of the Killybegs Fishermen's Organisation is attending the meeting.

He is calling for any potential cuts to fish stocks to be reversed.

They are calling for any proposed cuts to certain key stocks need to be reversed or phased in over a period time up to 2020 as provided for in the new Common Fisheries Policy.
