It's been confirmed that both the Killybegs Day Hospital and the Donegal Hospital Day Centre are to reopen in the coming weeks.
The facilities had been unavailable since the pandemic struck, with concern growing among the communities in question as to if they would ever be restored.
While the service users at the two community hospitals had been offered day care services in other locations, it was said to be impractical for a lot of people.
