A significant number of homes and businesses are currently without water in south Donegal.
The major outage is affecting Corker Lane, Acres, Cashel, Cashellackan, Ballyshannon and surrounding areas following a burst water main.
Crews are currently on scene carrying out repairs to the burst water main and it is estimated that the supply will remain off until mid-afternoon.
A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works which scheduled to take place until 11:55pm tonight.

It is recommended that 2-3 hours is allowed after the estimated restoration time for supplies to fully return.
