Latest trolleys watch figures show 77 people waiting on beds in the North West

There are 77 people waiting on hospital beds at the North West’s two main hospitals this morning.

39 people are waiting at Sligo University hospital and 38 and Letterkenny University Hospital according to the latest INMO Trolley watch figures.

Sligo’s figure is the third highest in the Country behind those at Limerick university Hospital where there are 87 people waiting and Cavan General Hospital where there are 41 people waiting to be admitted.

When it comes to the Emergency Departments there are 4 waiting in the emergency department in Letterkenny and 25 in Sligo.

The total number of people of those waiting for beds across the Country stands at 519
