€18,000 in LEADER funding has been approved for the Leitrim Development Company to deliver Biodiversity Action planning and training across the county
More than €9,000 in funding has been allocated to deliver and manage a biodiversity training and awareness-raising programme while another €9,000 will go towards the development of a biodiversity action plan for for the County.
The funding announcement has been welcomed by local senator Frank Feighan who says that Climate change through Biodiversity is very much part of a national conservation at present.
