Serious concern has been raised over the future of cardiac services in the North West after a leaked document as it relates to a review did not make reference to the region.
It's understood that the draft report is a national review into specialist cardiac services nationwide however Sligo and Donegal are omitted.

News emerged in recent weeks that the mobile Cath Lab in Sligo University Hospital is to cease and this latest report is said to have escalated fears that nothing will be done in terms of reinstating the service.
