Legislation to go before the Dáil that could allow use of body cams by members of Garda Síochána.

The Donegal based President of the Garda Representative Association says he hopes the process of members of the force being allocated body cams will take a significant step forward today.

Legislation will go before the Dáil to allow use of body cams by members of Garda Síochána.

It's claimed the Gardai are about 3 decades behind comparable police services when it comes to equipment.
