Leitrim company says engineering and trades jobs cannot be filled

The economy is loosing out on millions due a lack of skilled tradespeople.

One company in Leitrim says it has 15 Engineering jobs which it can't fill because it can't find enough people qualified to do the work.

Managing Director of Newtowngore Engineering John McCartin says we're suffering now because of an age old snobbery towards apprenticeships:
