Local residents demand action on unfinished estates

Work on an unfinished housing estate in Dromahair is unlikely to be finished before next year.

Fianna Fail Councillor Mary Bohan has raised the issue of the Forest Grove development and urged the Council to take it over.

She has clarified this evening while there is no live planning active on the estate, work will not be finished until next year:

Meanwhile,

A Sligo Councillor has the latest update on the taking in charge of Woodstream estate Coolaney.

Due to the lack of public lighting in sections of the estate it has now become unsafe for residents and requires immediate action, according to Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey.

A meeting is to take place between the receiver Deloitte and Sligo County Council enforcement.
