Leitrim Councillor calls for works to be carried out to alleviate flooding

A North Leitrim councillor is calling for work to be done in the Rossinver/Glenaniff area to alleviate flooding.

Fine Gael Councillor Sean McDermott is making the call after recent heavy rain caused flood damage to one home and threatened others.

Cllr McDermott says people are worried about what might happen when flooding occurs again, particularly when homes are threatened.
