A North Leitrim councillor has condemned the dumping in his area of items that reportedly included the body of a dead calf.
The items were dumped in the Newtownmanor area and as well as the body of the calf, also include household items and bull bars from a jeep.
Local Fine Gael Councillor Frank Dolan says the county council cannot police every area but added that dumping in quiet scenic areas cannot be allowed continue.
