A Leitrim councillor has called for the Rural Link Bus service to be rolled out across the north west to support the night time economy in towns and villages across the region.
Independent councillor Felim Gurn says such a move would help to address the shortage of taxis in these areas since the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Manorhamilton based business man called for the service be provided on a Friday and Saturday night to make sure towns and villages are accessible for people to support pubs, restaurants, and retailers.
