Leitrim County Council have selected their new Cathaoirligh.
Fianna Fail Cllr Sean McGowan has been selected as the new Chairman of Leitrim Co Council with Fine Gael Cllr. Frank Dolan to be the new Vice-Chair.
Cllr. McGowan has been selected to be Chairman twice previously, in 1995 and 2004.
Speaking to OceanFM News, Cllr. McGowan says one of his objecives for the next year is to increase the number of households with broadband.
