A Leitrim woman is among the finalists in this year’s Teagasc FBD Student of the Year competition.
Amy McGee, from Drumkeeran is described as having great knowledge of drystock systems in Ireland, in particular sheep production.

Heavily involved in her home farm, Amy received distinctions in both the Level 5 Certificate in Agriculture and the Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Agriculture.
The Teagasc FBD Student of the Year 2023 awards event will take place on Tuesday, May 21 with the awards presented by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue.
