Leitrim has experienced the biggest increase in house prices in the North West this year.
It’s one of the key findings in the latest Daft.ie report.
Prices in the final three months of 2024 in Leitrim were 7% higher than a year previously, compared to a rise of 7% seen during 2023.
The average price of a home is now €193,000, 46% above the level seen at the start of the covid19 pandemic.
In Sligo, prices were 5% higher than a year previously, compared to a rise of 6% seen during 2023.
The average price of a home is now €207,000, 38% above the level seen at the start of the pandemic.
While in Donegal, prices in the final quarter were 5% higher than a year previously, compared to a rise of 7% seen during 2023. The average price of a home in Donegal is now €217,000.
