Leitrim has lowest number of homes under construction to date this year

Leitrim still has the lowest amount of commencements nationwide to date.

Construction began on just 12 houses in the county throughout the month of October.

Leitrim has consistently been at the bottom of the pile, as construction has only began on 91 homes in the county so far this year.

In Sligo, construction began on just 11 homes in October, bringing the yearly total so far to 370.

While in Donegal, October's figure stands at 85, two more than September, bringing their total for 2024 to 930.
