Leitrim has the second lowest rate of Covid-19

Leitrim now has the second lowest 14 day incidence rate of Covid-19 in the country.

This is in contrast to the county having the highest rate in the second week of November.

The rate for the county is now 1,024; by comparison, the highest rate is Co. Carlow with a figure of 1871.

Sligo is on a rate of 1,068 and Donegal has a rate of 1,093.

Also worth noting, Leitrim also has the lowest 7 day incidence rate nationally with a figure of 390 infections per 100,000 population.
