'Lessons must be learned' from Gran Fondo event in Sligo

Lessons must be learned from last weekend's Gran Fondo event in Sligo.

That's according to Fine Gael Cllr Fergal Nealon, who says he has been inundated with calls from concerned members of the local business community and the public.

The concerns centre on a lack of communication over the details of the event from organisers.

Cllr Nealon says while it's hugely positive for Sligo to host the Gran Fondo, it's time for reflection with a view towards making a few improvements:
