The INMO has reported that 638 patients are waiting for beds this morning across Ireland's hospitals. This includes 41 in Letterkenny University Hospital, and 40 in Sligo University Hospital.
The two hospitals rank third and fourth most overcrowded in the country respectively, as staff continue to try and meet demand.
Concerns have previously been raised by the INMO ahead of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, where stress on the service could become overwhelming.
