Letterkenny University Hospital has announced quality improvement plans for enhanced patient care.
This follows the results of a National Inpatient Experience, which highlighted the experience of hospital patients.
Some areas highlighted as needing improvement was that some patients found it difficult to make a complain or provide feedback, while another was support for patients with disabilities.
LUH are addressing these issues by placing feedback forms in high visibility areas, and by introducing QR codes at bedside.

And a “Hello My Name Is” campaign will be rolled out to help patients with disabilities identify members of staff and improve communication.
