Letterkenny Hospital treating most Covid-19 patients nationally

Letterkenny University Hospital has the most people being treated for Covid-19 in the country.

79 people are receiving treatment for the virus in the hospital today and a further 52 are in Sligo University Hospital, the seventh most impacted nationally.

When it comes to hospital overcrowding, 52 people are awaiting beds in the North West; 35 in Letterkenny and 17 in Sligo.

Overall throughout the country today, 544 people are waiting for a bed in an Irish hospital and 1,042 Covid-19 patients are receiving treatment 42 of whom are in an ICU.
