Letterkenny University Hospital is one of the most overcrowded in the country today with 30 people on trolleys.
That is the highest number of people waiting on trolleys in Emergency Departments and on wards after Tullamore and Cork hospitals.
The figures have reduced dramatically in Sligo University Hospital today where there are 6 people on trolleys.
That's down from over 20 earlier this week according to the figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
