Lifeguards working on beach management is a dangerous distraction

A Donegal Councillor is warning that lives are being put at risk at beaches in Donegal due to Lifeguards having to cover the duties that Beach wardens would have previously completed.

Cllr Barry Sweeney says that having life guards involved in beach management is a distraction from their primary task which is to protect the general public.

Cllr Sweeney says Lifeguards have to be left to focus in saving lives.
