A number of local and regional businesses were rewarded for their efforts at last week's annual Sligo Chamber of Commerce awards.
The Local Enterprise Office Excellence Award, sponsored by Sligo LEO was aimed at businesses, services or products with growth potential, and was won by Innovision Media Ltd.
The Skillnet Regional Excellence Award, sponsored by Sligo Chamber Skillnet, was open to any company that has engaged in staff training programmes over the previous 12 months, and was won by Ireland West Airport Knock.
The Innovator Excellence Award, sponsored by Atlantic Technological University was for innovations that demonstrate the circular economy and future proofing of business models. The winner was Eddie Carr and Co Food Processing Technology.
And the Net Zero Excellence Award, sponsored by AIB, was for businesses that can demonstrate carbon neutral practices aligned to help achieve, or are on track to realise, the net zero emissions targets set out by the Government. The winner was O'Hehirs Bakery.
