Local Councillor calls for ambulance turnaround times at Sligo University Hospital to be addressed

There are urgent calls for ambulance turnaround times at Sligo University Hospital to be tackled.

Latest figures show that only 6.6% of ambulances in Sligo had a turnaround time of under 30 minutes in the month of May.

In Letterkenny University Hospital it was 9.1%.

Local Fianna Fail Cllr Donal Gilroy says the low turnaround is a cause of huge concern and something that needs to be addressed:
