Local councillor claims parking places at a premium in Kinlough

Serious concern has been raised over the lack of public parking on the main street in Kinlough.

It's thought that as the population of the north Leitrim town continues to grow so does the footfall in town centre which has resulted in parking becoming a serious issue for local businesses.

The Roads Department at Leitrim County Council is being urged to investigate what can be done to alleviate the problem.

Local Cllr Justin Warnock say there were similar issues in Manorhamilton which were addressed and there needs to be a sense of urgency now with Kinlough:
