Local drivers among those caught by Garda operation

The Gardaí's "Operation Slow Down" has caught 322 motorists breaking speed limits.

Some of the worst cases nationally were recorded locally with one driver caught doing more than 70 kilometres per hour over the speed limit in Ballinacarrow, Co Sligo.

Another driver in Cashelard, Co.Donegal was also recorded going 70 kilometres per hour over the speed limit.
