A local election candidate is due in court today charged with causing criminal damage to a house in Enniscrone.
The Irish Freedom Party candidate James Conway was arrested following the incident on Saturday, April 27th.

Mr. Conway, who is among the field in the Ballymote-Tubbercurry electoral area was also charged with trespassing on the same date.
He previously appeared before a special sitting of Sligo District Court in late April, where he was charged with the two offences.
