The President of the Irish Road Haulage Association is warning that hauliers in the counties of Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are most vulnerable to rising fuels prices.
The warning has been issued as almost 200 complaints were made to the consumer watchdog about increases in the price of petrol and diesel in the past two weeks.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission are outlining to an Oireachtas Enterprise Committee concerns that fuel providers have delayed passing on the reductions in excises to customers
