The Sligo /Leitrim Mountain rescue team have been allocated €42,500 in funding for the replacement of a crew transport vehicle.
The funding was announced by Minister Michael Ring under the First Responders Support section in the 2019 CLÁR Programme.
Sligo Leitrim Fine Gael TD Tony McLoughlin has welcomed the announcement and says the news comes as a timely boost for the local mountain rescue team.
