A local representative for the Labour Party says they will be backing a Sinn Fein motion to retain the eviction ban.
Party Leader Ivana Bacik has called on the Government to reverse its decision not to extend it beyond the end of this month.
It comes after Green Party TD Neasa Hourigan said she'll go against the Government on Wednesday and will back the motion.
Nessa Cosgrove is a former local election candidate for the party in the north west.

She says the government have to perform a U Turn or otherwise several families will be on the street with no chance of emergency accomodation:
