Local TD says Saolta group must address issues at all hospitals in it's remit

Nationwide protests are taking place today because of overcrowding and closures of Accident and Emergency services in Hospitals.

Hospital groups have organised the demonstrations to start at 1pm in response to the crisis in Irish Hospitals.

Donegal TD Thomas Pringle says ahead of the expected surge of the flu virus in January many hospitals are already under an extreme pressure

The Independent Deputy says the situation in the north west has been further complicated with the Saolta Hospital Group apparently being more concerned with addressing issues at Galway University Hospital rather than tacking issues at Sligo and Letterkenny University Hospitals.
