Local TD warns of major crisis in the community and voluntary sector

A local TD says there is a real crisis in the community and voluntary sector.

Deputy Marian Harkin raised concerns in relation to under funding and inadequate staffing when it comes to many services being provided by TUSLA across the north west including the Family Resource in Sligo.

Deputy Marian Harkin raised the matter with the Taoiseach in the Dáil.

The Independent TD says the issue is impacting on children and is reaching crisis levels in the north west due the lack of funds to properly pay staff
