Local TD's are urged to keep fighting for Cath Lab Services in Sligo

Local TDs are under increasing pressure to do what in their gift to reinstate the Cath Lab service at Sligo University Hospital.

The mobile unit ceased operations at the hospital last week - it had only been operating two days a week.

Sligo Councillors are urging all Local TD's  to speak frankly with Health Minister Stephen Donnelly on the issue.

Sligo Fine Gael Cllr Thomas Walsh says the service should be returned on a full time basis and Sligo is best placed for such a unit:
