Low incidence Covid rate in Sligo.

Sligo has one of the lowest incidence rate of the virus in the country

Mayo and Wexford are also among the lowest

As of Friday last 241 people in the North West had died as a result of Covid-19.

There were 183 deaths in Donegal 34 in Sligo and 24 in Leitrim.

The World Health Organisation has said Ireland might have to consider local restrictions to combat surges in certain areas.

But Professor of Immunology Paul Moynagh says they don't work.
