MacSharry: Need for a more 'focused' look at speed limit proposals

Sligo/Leitrim TD and Fianna Fail Transport spokesman Marc MacSharry says his party does not support new proposals for punishing speeding motorists.

Transport Minister Shane Ross presented ministers with the plans for graduated penalties which get more severe the further over the limit a motorist goes.

There was some concerns raised by rural Ministers but not the massive row that had been expected.
