Magee have introduced a redundancy programme due to a drastic drop in sales revenue during the pandemic.
One of the best known fashion brands in Ireland introduced the programme late last year.
The Irish Times reports that sales in their physical stores have decreased by around 60%; online sales however saw an increase.
While a retail consultant says bricks and mortar shops still have a future in the fashion industry.
