Major disruption expected in Ballysadare today

There is expected to be major traffic disruptions in Ballysadare this morning after a burst water main in the town.

The leak was noticed before 6 am this morning and Irish water are currently working to repair the leak which occurred close to the Sally Gardens.

Residents and businesses in the town are currently without water and motorists are asked to avoid the area while works continue.

Local Councillor Thomas Healy is appealing for residents cooperation to facilitate the works.
