It’s estimated that 1,600 people are without power this evening in the Bundoran and Kinlough areas.
ESB crews believe that a fallen powerline is the reason for the outage that has impacted a large number of homes and businesses in the South Donegal and North Leitrim areas.

Bundoran-based Councillor, Michael McMahon has confirmed to OceanFM news that the ESB currently has a number of crews searching for the fault and it’s hoped once located power will be restored as soon as possible.
The general public are requested to report any fallen powerlines to the ESB. Damage to the ESB's infrastructure was also caused last week during storm Barra.
