Man and woman go on trial over Sliabh Liag cliffs murder

The trial of two people charged with the murder of a man found off the cliffs at Slieve League begins today.

A jury, made up of five men and seven women, was sworn in yesterday.

39 year old Alan Vial and 22 year old Nikita Burns, are charged with the murder of Robert Wilkin on June 25, 2023 in Donegal.

The trial, at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin, begins at 12 noon today and is expected to last for a number of weeks.
