Man arrested after alleged discharge of firearm in Raphoe

Gardai in Donegal have arrested a man after following an alleged discharge of a firearm in the Raphoe area.

It's understood that event took place yesterday morning.

The man in his 50s was arrested and is being detained at Letterkenny Garda Station.

No one was injured the incident.

A technical examination of the scene was conducted and investigations are ongoing.
