A man has been arrested as part of a major drugs bust in south Sligo.
As part of Operation Tara, the Sligo-Leitrim Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search of a residence in the Tubbercurry area over the weekend.

During these searches, Gardaí seized cannabis to the value of €40,000, while a substantial quantity of cocaine was also seized.
One man was arrested in connection with the seizure and was subsequently charged with drug related offences

Gardai say that investigations are currently ongoing.
