A man has been arrested following an incident in Sligo Town this morning.
There was a major emergency response to the incident which happened at a house in St. Brigid's Place.

A media blackout was initiated while Gardai dealt with the situation.
Arising from this incident, Gardai have confirmed that a man aged in his 30s, was arrested for criminal damage offences and is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Sligo Garda station.

No injuries have been reported.
Gardai say that investigations are ongoing.
