Police investigating an incident of graffiti in Enniskillen last week have arrested a man on suspicion of a number of offences.
The letters ‘IRA’ were sprayed on to the side of the Clinton Centre, close to a memorial to the Enniskillen bomb victims.
Eleven people who had gathered for a remembrance event in the county Fermanagh town were killed in the IRA blast in 1987 while dozens were injured.
A twelfth victim died 13 years later having never woken from a coma.
The man (52) has been charged with four counts of criminal damage, displaying written material to stir up hatred or arouse fear and possession of class B drugs.
The man is due to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates on December 18th.
