A man has been arrested in connection with a weekend assault in Glencolmcille.
The incident happened yesterday evening at around 9.30pm.

A man in his 20s was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s today as part of the investigation.

He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in Co. Donegal.
Gardai say that investigations are ongoing.
