A man was arrested by gardai in Sligo after he drove the wrong way on a one-way street in Sligo town early yesterday morning.
The man was stopped by Gardaí on patrol.

Tests were carried out on the roadside, and the driver subsequently failed the tests.
He was arrested and was brought to Ballymote Garda Station for further tests.
The man was found to have no current driver's license.

Gardai seized the vehicle and the man is expected to appear in court at a later date.
